Christmas Wreath Making

Get creative with greenery & recycled materials to make a uniquely beautiful Winter Wreath for your festive home.

This event is one of a series of creative activities in a studio environment at Beach Gallery.

Full guidance will be given in the morning & then you will have free reign to stay in the afternoon to practice & experiment with your own ideas at your own pace.  There’s plenty of time to sit & drink coffee & take time out.

Suitable for complete beginners to art or those who have some previous experience.

Your tutor, Carolyn, is an experienced community artist with a Masters in Conceptual Art in a Community Context & a First Class Honours in Fine Art.  Carolyn has endless patience, a relaxed teaching style with a good sense of humour and is great at explaining things, so don’t worry if you’re feeling clueless!

Saturday November 26 10.30 to 1pm for the morning session & then carrying on till 3pm for you to stay & practice or try out your own experimental ideas.

You will be working with natural hedgerow materials such as honeysuckle, hebe, willow whips, Ivy, herbs with raffia and other found materials like beads and twine. Please bring things to work with as well as choosing from materials provided.
