Discover how to create

beautiful atmospheric images using simple techniques, basic materials & a printing press.

This is the first event for 2023 in a series of creative activities in a studio environment at Beach Gallery.

Full guidance will be given in the morning & then you will have free reign to stay in the afternoon to practice & experiment with your own ideas at your own pace.  There’s plenty of time to sit & drink coffee & take time out.

Suitable for complete beginners to art or those who have some previous experience.

Your tutor, Carolyn, is an experienced community artist with a Masters in Conceptual Art in a Community Context & a First Class Honours in Fine Art.  Carolyn has endless patience, a relaxed teaching style with a good sense of humour and is great at explaining things, so don’t worry if you’re feeling clueless!

Saturday January 28 10.30 to 1pm for the morning session & then carrying on till 3pm for you to stay & practice or try out your own experimental ideas.
